Dana has been involved with many civic and business organizations through the years. They include the North Gwinnett, GA Kiwanis Club, the Peachtree Corners ,GA Rotary Club and presently is an active member of the Sylva, NC Rotary Club.
Dana was president of the Gwinnett County, GA chapter of the Independent Insurance Agents of GA as well as a member of the board for many years. He served as the chairman of the Georgia Governmental Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia.
